Every year, the nine Punjab boards reveal their toppers one day before the main result — and 2026 is no different. If you appeared in the Intermediate Part-I (11th class) annual exams, the position holders of the 11th class result 2026 will be announced on Wednesday, 21 October 2026, while the complete result for all students goes live on Thursday, 22 October 2026 at 10:00 AM.
This guide tells you exactly when each board names its toppers, where the official toppers list is published, and how to tell a real list from a fake one. No topper names are included here — they are not public yet, and any name or marks you see on social media before the official announcement is unverified.
11th Class Position Holders 2026 — Confirmed Announcement Schedule
| Event | Date | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Top position holders announced | Wednesday, 21 October 2026 | 10:00 AM (PKT) |
| Full 11th class result 2026 | Thursday, 22 October 2026 | 10:00 AM (PKT) |
This schedule comes from the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC): all nine boards announce together, and the topper names come out a day earlier than everyone else’s result. BISE Lahore has confirmed that its top position holders will be announced in the BISE auditorium on 21 October 2026 at 10:00 AM, and the result gazette CDs go on sale from 22 October at 10:00 AM for Rs. 200.
How the Toppers Are Actually Announced
Each board holds a small prize ceremony on 21 October, usually inside its own auditorium. The board chairman and the controller of examinations announce the first, second and third position holders in front of the press. Photos and the official press release go up on the board’s website and notice board the same day, and newspapers print the names the next morning.
That press release — not a WhatsApp forward or a Facebook page — is the real toppers list. Every year, fake lists with invented names and marks circulate a day or two early. Ignore them completely until your own board publishes its announcement.
All 9 Punjab Boards — 11th Class Position Holders 2026
Each board publishes only its own toppers, so there is no single Punjab-wide topper — the first position holder of Lahore board and the first position holder of Multan board are two different students. Check the list for the board named on your roll number slip.

Where to Find the Official Toppers List
On 21 October, your board’s official website and its official Facebook page are the first places the verified list appears. Many boards also pin the position-holder notice on their result portal. If a list you see online does not match your board’s official notice — different names, different marks, no college names — it is fake.
Do not enter your roll number or phone number on random “topper check” websites that pop up on result week. The toppers list is public; it needs no login and no personal details.
What a Position-Holder List Contains
An official topper announcement usually gives you the student’s full name, obtained marks out of 550, position (1st, 2nd or 3rd), college name, and the group — Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, General Science, Commerce or Humanities. Shared positions are common; two or three students often tie on the exact same marks.
Topper Marks — What the Numbers Usually Look Like
Topper marks in the 11th class are always very close. The gap between first and third position is typically only a handful of marks, which is why ties happen so often. Total marks for 11th class are 550, and toppers usually cross 90% of that. The exact names and marks for 2026 will be confirmed in the board announcements on 21 October — anything shared before that date is guesswork.
What to Do After the Toppers Are Announced
If your name is on the list, your college and board will contact you about the ceremony and the prize — you do not need to apply for anything. For everyone else, nothing changes: your own result is still released on 22 October at 10:00 AM, and you check it by roll number on your board’s website, by SMS to your board’s code, or in the gazette.
Use the toppers announcement as a study reminder, not a pressure point. The students who top 11th class simply score consistently across all subjects — the same strategy works for anyone aiming higher in 12th class.
